Then there are also many traffic routes to other states that pass through North Dakota. Again, some of the shipment is unloaded in this state. This is another prominent manner in which methamphetamine comes in through North Dakota.

The next main source is local. Over the past ten years, North Dakotans have found out that they can manufacture methamphetamine through synthetic sources and using many commonly used substances such as antifreeze, lantern fuel and cough syrups containing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.
